BT Studio is a live music initiative by The Beach Terrace, created to bring meaningful, well-curated music experiences to our beachside venue in Chennai. It is designed as a platform for artists and music lovers, mainly focusing on live performances that are personal and resonating with the audience.

What makes this IP unique is the setting by the beach, right by the waves in an open-air setting, giving people a different way to experience live music in the city, away from the loud club nights and large concert formats, and closer to the music itself.

What is BT Studio?

BT Studio is our series of beachside live music sessions in Chennai, hosted at The Beach Terrace on ECR. Each edition of BT Studio features a curated live performance including acoustic sets, vocal sessions, experimental formats, and genre-blending collaborations.

The idea behind BT Studio was to create a space where music, artists, and the audience can connect naturally.

Rather than focusing on popularity or numbers, BT Studio focuses on quality performances, interesting formats, and artists who can bring something special to the stage.

At its core, BT Studio is a platform for artists.

Why We Created BT Studio

Chennai has a strong and diverse music culture, but many live music experiences are limited to clubs, ticketed concerts, or one-off gigs. BT Studio was created to bridge that gap.

We wanted to support live music in Chennai, create a regular platform for artists, give people simple and fun, relaxed evenings by the beach with great food and drinks, and bring people together through music.

The Experience

A typical BT Studio evening includes a live music performance, open-air beachside seating, food and drinks from The Beach Terrace.

The evenings are a great way to spend time with friends, family, and fellow music lovers. It is accessible and enjoyable for all ages.

BT Studio is hosted at The Beach Terrace, our Greek-themed open-air beachside restaurant and bar located within the VGP Heritage on ECR, Chennai.

The space comes with a gorgeous view of the sea, perfect for live music by the beach, where you can enjoy food, drinks, and live performances in one seamless experience.
