Following the successful launch of its first edition in November, BT Studio returns with a fresh and exciting second chapter, continuing its journey as a curated live music platform by The Beach Terrace.
BT Studio was introduced as a space for intimate, well-thought-out live music experiences by the beach. The first edition set the tone for what BT Studio stands for, which is bringing audiences closer to passionate artists with live performances in a beautiful, open-air beachside setting, where music is the focus.
Why BT Studio
BT Studio was created to support the live music scene in Chennai by offering artists a platform that values creativity, experimentation, and a genuine connection with audiences. Instead of large-scale concerts or loud club formats, BT Studio focuses on performances that allow the artists and listeners to enjoy music in its most natural form.
Each edition of BT Studio is meant to be different, and highlights unique formats and collaborations.
The Second Edition: Sax On The Beach
The second edition of BT Studio introduces a completely new and experimental format titled “Sax On The Beach.” This edition features a first-of-its-kind collaboration with a Saxophone x DJ live performance, bringing together two individual artists for a collaborative set.
Saxophone Vignesh and DJ Viiz come together for this one, fusing live saxophone with electronic beats. With Sax On The Beach, BT Studio continues its focus on showcasing fresh concepts and pushing beyond the conventional live music formats.
The Venue: The Beach Terrace
BT Studio is hosted at The Beach Terrace, VGP Heritage’s open-air beachside restaurant and bar located on ECR, Chennai. It is famous for its gorgeous sea views, fresh breeze, and vacation-like atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for live music by the beach.
This intentional combimnation of music experiences with food, drink, and the beach, creates evenings that people in the city are bound to love and never forget.
