The very first edition of our Supper Theatre series at VGP Heritage was incredible. With 'An Idiot for Dinner', directed by the legendary Michael Muthu, we kicked off a new way to experience theatre in Chennai, at our iconic Pandian Hall.

What was our first edition about?
We had the timeless comedy 'An Idiot for Dinner', a play that has entertained audiences across the world for decades. The setup was intimate, immersive, almost as if the audience were sitting on set. The show had plenty of wit, humour, clever characters, and lots of laughs shared by everyone in attendance. We started the evening serving snacks and drinks, then began the play, more snacks and drinks during intermission, and a grand buffet dinner to end the night on a high note.

We had great reach!
On social media alone, promotions for the show reached over 20 lakh views. Beyond the digital space, newspaper and other print ads added to this momentum.
And as a result....
We were at full capacity on show days! The atmosphere was electric and we were so glad to see that theatre continues to have a strong hold in Chennai.
So, what's next?
We’re already preparing for Supper Theatre #2 in November. Bigger, better, and even more exciting. We’re also opening doors for sponsors who want to be a part of this growing cultural movement. If you’d like to partner with us, please get in touch!
